We're Off to See the Wizard . . .

Yesterday and today, we were busy packing for a week at Vanderbilt.  Now you need to understand that I would be fine with just a tooth brush and one change of clothes.  Not Cathy!

When we go for an overnight visit, it usually takes us two suitcases, three grocery bags, four goodies bags, and numerous other items, plus a trip to WalMart, Target, and TJ Max.  This time we will need a transfer truck and four elephants.

Cathy's motto is, "be prepared!"  I can honestly say we have never lacked for anything on a trip.  She takes care of me.

We are spending the night in Nashville to avoid any traffic problems on Monday morning.  So far during our trips to Nashville, we have faces six inches of snow, over-turned tractor trailer trucks, and mystery jams--not the type you eat!

Randell and his family came to visit this weekend.  It was a good time for all of us.
