Rev. Ken Haag was a father-in-ministry
to me. He pastored several churches, including First Baptist Locust
Grove, GA, where Cathy served as his secretary. He was a good friend
and confidant. We enjoyed several good breakfast/fellowship times
together at Huddle House in Jackson. He was a great man of God and
will be missed.
Steven Taylor of Branch, LA was a
fellow MG'er and FaceBook friend. Steven and I were very similar in
our MG journey. He had MG for a long time, but never lost his spirit
and love for life and the Lord. He was evaluated and treated at a
teaching hospital at the end of March. This week he was admitted to
the hospital for a stomach virus. He heart rate escalated and he
died a few hours later.
It is amazing that something so simple
as a stomach virus can "take-out" someone with the
complications of Myasthenia Gravis. This is one reason I take such
precautions to avoid infections.
Both of these friend "died."
But, they have never been more alive! Soli Deo Gloria!
Soli Deo Gloria means To God Alone Be the Glory!
