Since Cathy was not home from work yet,
I called Kerrell to come an get it out for me. She tried to but to
no avail. Cathy arrived home a few minutes later and they both tried
until I made them stop.
After a long soak in the tub later that
evening Cathy tried again. It took the utility knife to cut deep
through the tough, callous skin on the bottom of my foot and
needle-nose pliers to pull the "log" out! Cathy mumbled
something about "pulling the log out of your own eye." I
don't know why!
